Blaine IT Program Chair Participates in Techfuse Conference

John Daley, Program Chair for Information Technology for Minnesota School of Business, Blaine campus, participated in the TechFuse I.T. Conference in Minneapolis on Thursday, May 17.

The conference was co-sponsored by Benchmark Learning, one of the companies in the Globe Education Network. Globe University/MSB was also a sponsor.

Many companies were represented at TechFuse, including Microsoft, Digineer, Vertiva, K2, Robert Half Technology, Software One, RBA Consulting, and others.

John was able to attend seminars on software engineering, a new software management tool called KanBan, and a presentation on the use of business intelligence.

Peter High, author of “World Class I.T.”, was the keynote speaker. He discussed building blocks toward development of sustainable, high performance I.T.

Kevin Remde of Microsoft, who spoke at MSB Blaine’s AITP meeting and gave a demonstration of the Windows 8 operating system, also participated in the conference. Kevin also attended the Information Technology Program Advisory Committee annual meeting on May 24.
