MSB Makes Donation to Help Replace Bronze Stars Stolen Off of Veterans Graves

Globe Education Network (GEN) has donated $500 to help replace the bronze stars that were stolen off veteran’s graves in Isanti County.

Every Memorial Day, volunteers place U.S. flags in the bronze markers in honor of departed veterans. Over 200 bronze markers were stolen from three different cemeteries in Isanti county in April and May.

“Hearing the news of this sad event, we wanted to do something to help the situation,” said Mindy Myhre, MSB’s director of charitable giving. “We have many veterans on our campuses and we are so proud of the commitment they have made to our country. We made this donation on behalf of them to show we truly care.”
