Financial Aid Director Lisa Roesch welcoming back student Blake Sykes at Hector International Airport in Fargo.
After spending more than one year away from home on a deployment to Kuwait, Minnesota School of Business student Blake Sykes finally returned home, his flight arriving a few minutes before midnight on June 26th, 2012.
Financial Aid Director Lisa Roesch and Communications & Community Relations Specialist Brian Shawn were at the airport waiting for him with a sign, welcoming Sykes back to the area.
Sykes spend time in Kuwait with the 134th Brigade Support Battalion, a Minnesota Army National Guard Battalion headquartered at Camp Ripley.
“I really appreciate you guys being here,” Sykes said. “It is great to finally be back.”
