New Resource Center Open to Students

Vet Tech Students at the Lemonade Stand in the Resource Center

Student Services Coordinator Shawn Kremer is pleased to announce the opening of the Minnesota School of Business-St. Cloud Student Resource Center. A space dedicated to the academic needs of students, it is an idea that has been long in coming a reality.

With the advent of the online bookstore, “we had the opportunity to create the resource center we had wanted for a long time,” Kremer said. “It will be a one-stop-shop,” he explained, “for tutoring, academic questions and study space for small groups.” It is located in Room 109.

Tutoring has been available for students on campus previously, but the Resource Center will give students more options. In addition, there will be more faculty tutors available. The goal is to see more small study groups and more opportunities throughout the week.

Ideally, Kremer said, the Resource Center will grow and expand over time as student needs dictate.

Kremer invites students to drop in and see what’s changed. He also encourages students to bring any questions they may have.  And as a special welcome the first week of the quarter, there’s free lemonade!
